Yes. your totally normal hon. Try not to stress or freak out very much. Woman do start to feel better in the 2nd trimester. and its normal not to have as many symptoms now. Not having symptoms doesn't mean anything is wrong. some lucky woman never have a lot of pregnancy symptoms. as for not showing. every woman and every pregnancy is different. woman will all show at different times. A lot of woman arn't showing at 17 weeks. You should start showing in the next month or so, just give it time. Its a good sign that you arn't bleeding. most likely since you have no blood, and are not severely cramping then you are not having a miscarriage. there is such a thing as a missed miscarriage, where you won't have any signs right away, but that is more on the rare side. most woman who have a miscarriage will cramp badly, and heavily bleed. I understand your worried, but I'm sure your baby is just fine inside of you. and next week you'll get to hear the heart beat so that will put your mind at ease. try not to stress. good luck.

I still look fairly slim on my back, especially in the morning. But once I eat breakfast, Big Belly Alert, LOL!! I go for my 5 month sono tomorrow, but the heartbeat last week was fast (140). I think it is normal growth. I still can't feel the baby from outside, and I started as a size 0. Be patient, and don't worry! Good Luck!

i'm 14 weeks and have experianced a bump laying down since 12 weeks. why isn't your doc doing an Ultrasound till 5 months? lol that's kinda odd. go to a diff. ob.
anyway, yes, when i stand up, i have a bigger belly, and it's mostly my pot belly, but when i lay down and if i have a full bladder, i can fill a grape fruity bump between my pelvic bones and umbilicus.
but i cannot feel anything if i my bladder is empty
try feeling it when u lye down when u have a full bladder. that will push the uterus closer to your abdominal wall.
what i do is every morningn when i wake up, but before gettin gup, and before emptying my bladder, i lay on my stomach and feel for the baby bump. u should feel it best then, or any other time but it has to be on a FULL BLADDER.
let me know if it still doesn't work

That's exactly how I am I am 19 weeks pregnant. It's nothing to worry about. My baby is growing and I'll find out on Thurs what i'm having. I had 2 small ultrasounds done because they couldn't hear the heartbeat since I have a tilted uterus but when they did finally get to hear it on the monitor all was good. As long as the heartbeat is good. :-) Don't worry.

you're just fine. This is my 3rd baby, and I was the same way you are....small but bigger as the day went on as I ate. Trust me, in a few months you'll be wishing you couldnt see that belly anymore :) Youll see at the ultrasound that your baby is doing okay! Congrats to you and good luck

What youre discribing is normal for every single pregnancy on the planet. When you lay down, or sleep, your body naturally shrinks around the uterus, when you are awake the uterus pulls away from the body because of gravity, and you seem bigger because you have more water in your system during the day.
Its totally normal.

I think it's probably normal. Gravity. Kind of like... I have no boobs when laying on my back, ha-ha. But, seriously, my baby bump is much smaller when I'm laying on my back. I will be 17 weeks tomorrow w/ #2.

When you lay on your back, everything sinks inward. Its normal. Its also recommended not to lay on your back while you are pregnant, because the pressure of the uterus puts strain on one of the main blood vessels.
Congrats on the pregnancy!
