strange1970, I wanted advice to HELP get a puppy. And no, you aren't my father so I dont understand why you are scolding me.

Prove that you mature and responsible enough to help take care of it. Next time you have relatives or Friends of the family go away for a few days. and they need someone to take care of their dog volunteer to care for it and do a good job at it.
Then again that might convince you that they are too much trouble. lol
If all else fails beg. lol

If I was your father, you can "dream on"! If you want a puppy, go to a friends house or elsewhere-I can't handle them. (maybe she'd say the same) maybe in the future things will change or you'll have to wait till you move out-then you can have all the pets you want!
