I always enjoy watching TV when I come home from work. Then before bed it is better for me to read a book before going to sleep. Otherwise I am wide awake waiting for the end of the show.

It depends on whether there is anything worth watching on TV. Sometimes I do both. At work during break, I will have the TV on in the crew room yet I will be reading.. not that hard to do...

Books because they take longer to read. I'd rather spend a week reading a book then an hour watching it.
