Okay..I am NOT raising my hopes for my team becuase i know they are consistently inconsistent and if they have defeated Aussies today , they could be defeated by Bangladesh tomarrow or even by scoltland !this is what Pakistani team is all about..but today they did sooo well and actualy proven that they have the talent ..only thing they need to work on is being consistent and get organized....Australia didn't take Pakistan light today becuase Aussies knew that Pakistan has defeated Lanka yesterday..so obviosuly they came to the field with preparation..Don't you think the credit goes to Pakistan team today ??are they buidling up again and can proceed to some good level in this tounament??? or its just a co-incidence and they would be the same tomarrow?? Anyways....."Well Done Pakistan" for today and yesterday atleast and all the luck for semis !!

It all depends on confidence level and the swing between the two extremes. It is not coincidence it seems, but the result of two positive aspects.
1.You have got a good captain in Shoib Malik.
2.Your bowling is good.
These victories have been achieved without much batting support at the start and the end. When they too start contributing the winning ways will be back and stay as long as long as they don't step into overconfidence.congrats.

No not incident but it is Pakistan for u, On the given day we can be world best but on the next day we can be the world worse. But not just carried away we still have Bangladesh to meet before semis, and if Bangladesh beat Pakistan as they did in 1999 world cup then like in that world cup Pakistan my play final, lol but Pakistan must beat Bangladesh to take revenge of 1999.
I hope Pakistan will learn from their past mistakes and after a loooooooooooooooooooong time give Pakistani nation a moment of joy, we desperetely needed it.
Allah hafiz.

There are lots of talented young players in the team like Asif, Malik, Misbah....but the thing is that the players don't express their talents in every match, due to various reasons..for an example last years World Cup.
They showed some laziness in the field which lead their early elimination..Anyway, I hope that they wont go to that level again & with this two wins that they'll gain confidence & continue playing good cricket & win matches including this cup.
VERY WELL PLAYED PAKISTAN !!!!!!
Best of luck in the semis

well, there is no such word like co-incidence in any game whether its for cricket or for any other game. yes today its their Luck that happened. credit goes to Pakistan today.

Pakistanis are always talented but the only problem with them is, that they lack consistency. they need to work on this.

they can build up again and can proceed to some good level in this tounament, Inshaa-Allah...

It was a fantastic performance by Pakistan. They have the talent and fire power and if they become more consistent in their performance, they can defenitely win this tournament.

Twenty20 is too short to base your hope/expectation whatever.

By the way, Pakistan team is always talented anyway. Their problem is elsewhere.

First of all congrats.
Well you never know with our teams. India is not at all different from Pakistan. We our genetically the same. Making horrible mistakes is in the genes of our players.
In any game, it's all about performance. Whoever performs better on a given day will win. Pakistan is a talented team & can beat any team in the world on a given day.

So i don't think that it was a co-incidence. Your team performed really well both with the bat & the ball against two fine teams. But your team need to show some more character now.
I personally believe that's where our sub-continental sportsmen lag as compared to other sportsmen around the world. We people just don't have the desire to make it big. Look at Roger Federer, he wins 1 grandslam, then another, then another, then another....... and it goes on and on.
Schumacher wins 1 grandprix,then another,another,another.......and it goes on & on & on.
Aussies won 3 world cups in a row & they are still hungry for more

It's all about the desire in your heart. When you have it then you will try your best to achieve your goals. That's why people like Federer,Tiger Woods,Schumacher are far above the rest.

Our players love to pose for sports magazines. They love to be in the spotlight everytime. They love to see their picture on the front page of the top newspapers.
But sadly they just don't love to take their game to the next level. 'Improvement' is not in their dictionary. That is where Australia is the undisputed champion. They keep improving evertime. Without constant improvement you are never going to be the top side.

You look at our 'Sehwag'. He has not been able to learn the art of 'Footwork' in 5 years of cricket. Ganguly hasn't improved his running between the wickets in 12 years, Mohd.Yousuf has the same problem. There are plenty of such embarrassing examples in our two teams.

Now we cannot expect the present ( the experienced) players to do anything differently. We can only expect that the young breed will not follow the footsteps of the seniors. We need people that are true sportsmen. That are willing to spend hours & hours in the practice sessions to polish their skills. It's common sense, doesn't matter how expensive your shoes are but if you will not polish them regularly then they will start looking ugly.

All the best to Pakistan & India. Future belongs to them
