I see trees that are starting to change color, what few flowers that are left, grass that looks like it will need to be mowed one more time before winter. I see some birds bouncing around the yard feeding, OH,OH, theres a cat sneaking up on them. There is a squirrel eating on pine cones. There is a fog that does not want to go away today, maybe this misting rain will take care of it. Oh, that cat missed, LOL. The trees will be in full color before to long ( the Sugar Maples are so beautiful in the fall w/ bright oranges, reds and yellows ) Fall is a beautiful time of the year.

I see a large parking lot, with a funky eucalyptus tree shaped like a hand in it. Behind that there's a big building labeled "Facilities" and a whole mess of palm trees. There's also a drainage ditch one one side that has been decently landscaped.

I look bemused at people like tiny ants on the streets of downtown Phoenix fourteen stories below. They scurry about on their important little tasks, these people, rushing headlong into uncertain destinies, and I am left feeling somehow saddened by the sight.

Awww, well. Friday will come, right? I just have to believe that Friday will really come . . . .

At work? It's the city. At home - it's a huge stained glass window of a church and a tree-lined city street.

I'm so lucky, the woods are in front of my house. And the new house next to ours hasn't been sold. A field is on the other side of our house, so I feel like we have this oasis by ourselves for now. It's beautiful and I love it. Arkansas is the Natural State. :)
