You might as well ask what's my favorite star in the sky, or my favorite grain of sand on the beach. There are way too many to name. It's my fave era of music simply because I was young, still innocent, and life was considerably less difficult, and 80s music takes me back. But I'll name a few...
Footloose, Time of My Life, Top Gun, Walking on Sunshine, Stand, Brown-Eyed Girl, Take My Breath Away , Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, I Need a Hero, 99 Red Balloons, Alone, Here I Am, Land Down Under
Anything by Bon Jovi, Skid Row (Sebastian Bach was WAY HOT!!), KISS, Guns-n-Roses, Poison, etc.
I could go on forever.

Ultimately, the one that captured the 80's for me was "Burning Down the House" by The Talking Heads.

My two favorite bands are the Talking Heads and Devo. To pick a favorite Talking Heads song would be impossible, but my favorite Devo song is "Gut Feeling/Slap Your Mammy".

Wow....another tough question....so many songs to choose from! I guess 1987 was a particular year when I seemed to find myself listening to the Top 40 on the radio most weeks - it would be so hard to pick a particular song from that year, though.

Gosh, the 80's brings back so many memories, my favorite would have to be "Funky Town", but there are so many others, remember the styles back then??
