A Tampon is a device that helps women when they are on their period..it is either made of a cardboard or plastic exterior which is put in the vaginal opening and the pushed up and the inside is made of cotton and it absorbs blood...*best invention ever made if you ask me

Well, a tampon would be a tube of cotton made specifically for women which they insert in the vaginal area to not stop the menstrual flow per say, but to absorb it and block it from staining your clothes.
