while he was fighting with phillies jesse boulerice and while he was fighting, the sweater ripped and that gave boulerice an advantage of putting the sweater over janssens head and start punching him!!!! im tellin ya, that is a cheap figth, he had janssens head under a sweater and was pounding away!

Mike Rupp is in the minority. So far the response to the new jerseys has been overwhelmingly positive, including Zach Parise
As for Cam Janssen, he is a borderline NHLer at best, and with the signing of Aaron Asham, the string holding to that border has become thinner.

Unfortunately Janssen was never good at fighting. He had one good fight in a NJ/NYR game, but that's it. The new jerseys had nothing to do with the injury, Janssen is shoulder injury prone. Just look at last season. Every game he missed was due to shoulder problems.
My biggest complaint is that the new Devils jerseys look EXACTLY like the old ones! This was their chance to add a little flair to the standard.

Just because Janssen got what was coming to him, doesn't mean you have to blame the new jerseys. Besides, he isn't even a good player, you shouldn't miss him.

No offence, But Janssen got what was comming to him, he's a dirty player and he picks fights and does things to the wrong people, i still havn't forgivin him for that hit on Kaberle last year.
