The words go like this: "Your'e a lady, I'm a man, your'e supposed to understand.." and "...I'm a fool, you're the teacher, I come to school..." It's a song about a school boy who has a huge crush on his teacher. We listened to it at school many moons ago. It starts off pretty quietish then gets quite 'boomy' towards the end. I really love the song but have no idea what it is called or who sings it. Does anybody know?

After the "...you're the teacher, I come to school" part it then says "...here I sit and hope that you love me". It ends in "Be mine.... be mine"

It sounds like "You're A Lady" by Tony Orlando & Dawn. It was a minor hit for the group in early 1973 but it probably has been remade by other artists since then.
