I want to be a cocktail waitress and I was wondering what kind of shoes would not be killing my feet as bad after 8 hours...anyone know of any cute, yet comportable shoes that would work with a cocktail waitress uniform?

Serving is going to be extremly hard on not only your feet but your legs. I suggest those ballet flats, if your job allows them.
First you need to see what kind of restrictions are set on shows then go from there. There's always really cute flats other then the ballet flats to look at, just make sure they are built with good arch supports, if not then buy the gel inserts

What is your uniform like? Skirt or pants? Dressy or plain?

For plain attire w/ slacks, consider Dansko, Ariat, Born or Clarks (casual - Indigo or Artisan).

For dressier shoes, consider Clarks (dress shoes), Ecco, Beautifeel, or Softspots.

Zappos.com carries these brands & you can check consumer reviews to get ideas re: quality, fit, comfort, etc.

BTW, if you have flat feet concentrate on arch support. If you have high arches focus on cushioning.

Look for an Avon catalogue that might have cushion-walk shoes and see which one you would like best to wear with your uniform. There are cushion walk mules but I dont know how appropriate those would be so see if there are any shoes. I personally own a pair of cushion-walk mules that I bought from Avon and it is quite comfy I often dont feel like taking them off.
