If you tell them to leave and they refuse, it turns into trespassing. Then you can call the police.

If that person is on your property without permission then yes you can! You don't have to have it posted to be able to press charges. Is your property fenced off, is it all right next to your house, or is it a spread out peice of property that is unmarked? No matter what you can press charges, but if your property is larger and not clearly marked and someone wandered onto it you might consider having some grace and making sure they know where the property line is.

Yes. A lot will depend on the reason the person is on your property as to what will be done. Were they just walking around, did they knock on the door, were they in a shed or other structure for no reason etc?
