divide the denominator by the recriprical (9/8). This will cancel out the denominator to 1. You then will multiply the numerator by (9/8) as well. you will then end up with 9(-x+2) divided by 8(18). the denominator becomes 144. the 9 and the 144 reduce to end up with -x+2 divided by 16 and thats the final answer.

I'm assuming there are division signs missing in the numerator and denominator too. Multiply by 18/18, that will give (-x +2)/16
