Looking for cool stops on the way - if there's anything.

Route I-4 has a few things just east of Tampa -- I think there's a big Dinosaur Land (or the equivalent) a few miles out. Cypress Gardens is just a little south of I-4, and kind of interesting in a 1920's sort of way.

If you head straight east from Orlando, the Kennedy Space Center is definitely worth while. Otherwise, keep going on I-4 to Daytona Beach. The racetrack and beach are pretty cool.

Continuing north, St. Augustine is a must for the Fountain of Youth -- the water tastes pretty bad, by the way. The historic district is there. The Golf Hall of Fame is in that neighborhood, and is pretty nice.
