what is the designer's aesthetic?


-i was looking on dictionary.com and like 3 other places and they all said "appreciation of beauty".

"what was the designers appreciation of beauty?"
makes no sense to me.

The context or viewpoint from which the designer was working. What the designer decided would be beautiful/functional/elegant/etc

From the usage you quote - I take it that it means what the designer sees as being beautiful.
