There are several still made here in the USA. Below is a list of ones that I purchase from for my store. If you want I can get you the numbers

Greg Darnall ~ TX
Reinsman ~ TN
L & W Bits ~ TN
Enlo Trammel ~ KY
Kelly Bits
Weaver

There are several others I can order from but I have had the best luck with the above brands. Enlo and L & W Bits can make up any kind of bit you could dream of! lol Enlo Trammel takes a little while and is rather expensive but he had good solid work. L 7 W which is located here in TN handf makes all theirs and is about 40% cheaper than Enlos and it takes maybe a week to 10 days to get your bit in. That is if you have one specially made, they keep a HUGE selection of different types at all times.

uh, anyone want the name and phone number of an ex man friend (and I use that term loo sly) that stole a number of Billy Klapper hand made sterling bits from me? I'm not joking, they are all worth over $2000 each now. I have heard by the grapevine that he has sold several of them, but I would gladly give you the information...they are awesome using bits.

Try J.M. Capriola in Elko, Nevada. They sell a lot of old buckaroo style gear. I would think some of it would be domestic. They have a website, just Google them.

There's also a guy named Al Tietjen from Nevada that made a lot of great silver. He's retired, but you can still find his stuff at tack auctions & so forth. Watch your local paper for the big 4H tack auction, they do one every year in most areas.
