There would be no point. The reason for the Purple Hearts, awarded for two scratches and one self inflicted wound, was that each award shaved off one month from his one year tour. The honorable soldiers did the full twelve months. Other honorable soldiers didn't put themselves in for medals. Kerry will never live down his shameful antics in Vietnam.

Meyer overstepped First Admendment bounds when he used profanity on open mike in a public forum. The Constitution expects First Amendment rights to be used responsibly. This is why Meyer's mike was cut.
Meyer DID resist police arrest. Had he calmly went on his way, he'd resonate a much clearer message that Kerry was a cowardly idiot. But by his outrage, Meyer handed Kerry EVERY opportunity to walk from this smelling like a rose.
The U of Fla. campus cops have a problem: the video clearly shows they all crossed excessive force lines. This might cost the university.
It's a sad case where three wrongs surely didn't make anything right.

Seems like you buy into the Bush spin machine!! Even if you believe ( in your brainwashed mind) that his medals are bogus at least he showed up. It is amazing that all the Conservatives that are always shouting "support the troops" can slander a man that served his country honorably in a different war at a different time for the benefit of politics.

Not only did Kerry have nothing to do with the kid getting tasered, but all of his medals were actually earned. You're showing a lot of disrespect for a US war hero. You should look into Kerry's record. He's credited with at least 20 enemy kills, in addition to his injuries and actions saving his men. Unlike Bush, who performed nothing more heroic than a beer run.

Of course not. Kerry didn't taser him. The campus police did. And how could Kerry get a medal for that anyway?

Kerry didn't taser the kid but he will lie and say he did it just to get a medal of honor.

Remember: if a law does not apply equally to everyone, it is not a law. Kerry should be treated the same way any working person would be treated.

It's no worse than Darth Vader, I mean Dick Cheney, shooting his friend in the face with a shotgun. That's for sure.
