You have a great question, and the moment you say Hittlery you ruin it. The question itself deals with a problem we've been toying around with for a while, and it applies to policies from both sides. Think about it for a second. You sacrifice your freedoms to go through an airport easily when national security decides they need to up airport security. The wiretaps this administration has put in has sacrificed some of of your privacy rights. The Patriot Act has given the administration almost a blank check to do whatever is necessary to find terrorists in this country, and those could come at a sacrifice to your rights.
Now lets look at the other side. You have an extra tax on your bill. I don't see how this is a massive change from the status quo. It takes away some more of your hard earned money so that you don't have to worry about health insurance, and neither do some other people in the US. No, they wont mandate that you have to exercise every day, no one could do that in this day and age. They can't force you to eat right either. But when you are not healthy, at the very least, this is an opportunity to help you. Look at the loss to your rights coming from this and put it in perspective. You lose money, other people gain in health. Isn't life more precious than a large paycheck?

No.....there's a limit for me. I would not want to trade freedom for security. I don't like her plan for forced insurance. There really is a recent story where a man is being refused surgery for a broken foot or leg because he smokes. Been broke for 2 years now and in constant pain. They'll give him morphine for pain.....just won't fix his leg. I don't think it's here (in the US) but it is a recent story.
I've seen the huge errors just when insurance companies decide who what and where they will treat......forget the government having a say. A board of people looking at papers has no clue about an individual and their needs and who deserves what. They are not the be all to end all and are not exempt from errors.
It's my life and if I want to eat chocolate cookies or drink or smoke or sky dive naked.....I don't want someone telling me can't and making another stupid law to limit my ability to live my life.

This is really an excellent question, and something more people should have thought seriously about when the Patriot Act renewal was being debated. We should not have given up our full rights to habeas corpus, privacy of our phone calls and emails, right to a lawyer, etc. without a whimper.
Hillary hasn't "determined" anything yet; first she'd have to be elected, and then her bill would have to pass the House and the Senate. You should be sure to voice your objections throughout the whole process if this is the way you feel about health insurance.

How does freedom for security equate to Hillary's health care plan?
Apples and oranges.
But to answer the question: No. I would not trade freedom for security. Which is why I support repealing the Patriot Act, Real ID Act, and the Military Commissions Act.
Now to answer the non-related Hillary question: No, I don't support her health care plan. Personally, I think she is absolultely foolish to unveil this plan 14 months out from the election.

I thought you meant wire taping our phones and reading our E mails and imprisoning people because they immigrated from the middle east.
If it is health Insurance and they make it affordable more power to her. I wish someone would give me incentive to eat right and exercise. Make us all run after sitting behind a desk all day.

Depends on your security.
Insurance is for your own good she probably wants to save taxpayers money on hospital bills. To be fair, exercise is good for your health. If giving part of my freedom for my health, I would prefer health and give up freedom in exchange. Freedom means nothing when you are dead.

Maybe we should allow the government to 'tag' us.
Easy identification, they would be aware of your whereabouts at all times so they could provide you with 24/7 'safety.'
