As you've already heard, it's for team captain. Most NFL teams have three or more captains. (I was surprised they elected kicker Jeff Wilkins in St. Louis, for instance) a lot of other sports are doing it, most notably hockey players. Many college teams do it too. It's one of the new changes with NFL uniforms for 2007, like the green dots on the helmets to denote wired units. I think they should have been a little more subtle about the "C" tho.

Yeah, it means Captain like everyone else said. Those dots underneath them are stars, and I believe it's optional. I know they're not on the Steelers uniforms and I don't think New England had them on as well.
Cheers!

When you say breast are you talking about the linemen? Or maybe some coaches, most of them need Manziers. But seriously men have Pectorals not breasts.
It's captain, offense, defense, special teams. I don't think teams have to use it, but they can.

It identifies those players with crotch rot, and how many times they have had it.
Don't you read? It was in all the papers.
