Sounds like you've got spyware on there...

Download and run Spybot Search and Destroy from here:
http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html
If you right-click on an empty spot near the toolbar on your browser you should be able to disable it.

You can also go into Tools > Internet Options > and change your homepage to something safe like www.google.com

While you are in there click on Browsing History and delete temporary files and browser history

If you do all of those things in combination that should completely fix everything.

I would still double check that your antivirus is enabled, automatically updating, and properly configured. You can also go to mcafee website and run a web based scan to double check antivirus is working as well.

Your computer has a serious Smitfraud infection.

Follow the procedure here:

"The latest rogue anti-spyware program installed via Zlob infections is VirusProtectPro. VirusProtect Pro is installed via a type of Trojan infection called Zlob Trojans which masquerade as video or audio codecs required to view a movie or listen to a audio file. In reality, though, these Trojans instead install VirusProtectPro as well as other malware on to your computer without permission..."

Install the two free programs Lavasoft Ad-Aware SE and Spybot Search And Destroy. You have spyware on your PC, not a virus. Since neither of these programs finds ALL spyware, I use both. They are free and contain no malware. You can Google for them.

If your computer is sending you to a scam site, using alert balloons, pop-ups, a browser toolbar, or a hijack of your browser or your desktop screen, then you need to clean your computer with REAL antispyware software.
