It's amniotic fluid

Ask your doctor.

It is very unlikely that you are leaking. The amniotic sac itself is unlikely to leak and the mucous plug in your cervix would be unlikely to let anything that did leak get past it.

A simple test, called a "fern" test can tell if you have any amniotic fluid present in your vagina. The fern test is a simple fluid swab that is allowed to dry on a microscope slide and then it is examined.

I think you mean "amniotic" fluid and if you were leaking it would be coming out of you. If your Dr is concerned, they'll do an U/S to check it. Your belly could seem smaller simply from the baby moving around and being in a different position.

You probably are not leaking amniotic fluid. Discharge increases alot during pregnancy. If you do not have a pregnancy book, get one and it will tell you normal things to expect and also what is not normal. If you really think you are leaking (not common at only 17 weeks). You need to contact your OB and they can test the fluid on your underwear to see if it is amniotic fluid.

Are you leaking fluid out your vagina?

Do you feel like you are peeing all the time even without sitting down and trying too?

Did you have a gush of fluid come out of your vagina?

If you answered yes to any of those go see your doctor they can test for amniotic fluid in your vagina.
