It's no good to just give me the answer - I need to know how you figured it out. Where does 6 come from out of the 2 and the 12?? It seems to me that 2xsqrt3 should be = 3, not six??

12 +/- (2) sqrt(3)
= 2(6 +/- sqrt(3))

It's as reduced as you go. Just 12+2sqrt3 or 12-2sqrt3.

Is there more to the question, such as a denominator?
