It's like the gals who complain about Playboy magazine exploiting women being fat hogs that no man with eyesight would want to see naked. And girls, you know who you are! Good point, Ronnie. Have a star on me.

No. It's not ironic.
I listened to a Sherlock Holmes story on an itunes podcast last night. Part of the story concerned a terrified girl on the run from a young man. She did everything to avoid him for an entire day. By the next day, she was his wife.
That is ironic.
Another example:
A man is late for his flight. He nearly breaks a leg to get to the terminal and makes the flight in seconds flat. He breaths a greatful, "thank goodness! My boss would have killed me if I'd missed this flight!" The plane crashes into the ocean, killing everyone on board.
Dark.. but ironic.
Irony is about a difference between what we think is going to happen and what actually does happen. Not every funny observation is ironic.

Well you do realize you just proved why relationships and marriages don't work. Because one don't want to be with the other and they never wanted to be with each other in the first place..lol

It may be that women who find it hard to find a man protect themselves by declaring that they don't want a relationship
However,
It may also be that a woman is genuinely happy to be on her own, it content and happy in her life and the men who want her but cant have her protect THEIR feeling by declaring they never wanted her

No, it's not ironic, it's coincidental. Irony implies an incongruity in human behavior. There is no incongruity there.
EDIT-Lol. Fine, don't believe me. Will you believe these definitions instead? Or are you going to say that the DICTIONARY is wrong, too?

But that's the idea. If I don't want to be with a man, why should I bother trying to make a man want to be with me?

If someone doesn't want to be with someone who doesn't want to be with them, then it works out for both people, now doesn't it? What's the issue?

Another one of your "reasoned, intelligent, well-thought-out" questions that you will use to label any woman who disagrees with or challenges you a lesbian or a man-hater, or whimper self-pityingly about how no one understands you.
There aren't any women here who say they don't want to be with any man. Most of us are quite happy with the ones we have.
ETA: You think I "tricked" him? Prove it. Cite the source of your information.
