what is minium wage and am i entitled to it when working wlth a cleaning agencey .at moment reciving only 4.80 per hour

is it the type where tips are a normal part of the business? are you under 18 years of age and thereby fall into a category where you could be paid less then full rate?

You are entitled to minimum wage but whether you will get it is another matter. Thousands are working for less and the employers are getting away with it , either because the workers don't say anything for fear of losing the job or the Government departments responsible are not doing anything about it. t

working for any company u r entitled 2 minimum wage at least.

to my knowledge.. if you tips don't at least bring your pay up to a balance of minimum wage then the company has to match it up to the minimum. And seeing as how I doubt you get much in the way of tips working for a cleaning company they would have to match you (legally) up to the minimum.

if you are above a certain age your employer must pay minimum rate.
