The US law states that all men (men and women) are equal yet they are certain laws that favor men over women. One example is giving american women the right to have an obortion and not providing men with one even though all state laws require that men must pay child support for up to at least 18 years. Another issue is selective service. Women get the same benefits such as men access to financial aid, federal jobs, and job training yet are not required to sign up for selective service. Yet women can vote, run for governor or president, and join the military byolunteering.

good point another question is why can a woman say that she wants to keep the child and the man has to pay money...but the man has no choice in the matter? When a woman decides she doesnt want the child but the man does why should she have the right to get an abortion? Another question, Why do women want to get paid the same or more....but dont want to do the same back breaking labor? And why if a woman hits a man he is suppose to take it but when a man hits a woman its an assault? Why do women waste money to get their nails done when it wears off in 3 weeks? why get your hair ''done'' when it goes flat after sleeping on it for two nights? why buy high heels when you cant do sports or work in them let alone walk or stand for 8 hours? Why do men not do any housework and its deemed as a womans job? Why do sports player get ´paid millions of dollars to...uh...play a game?
Too Many why's in the U.S. thats why I moved to Germany....but its the same if not worse here....

So, I don't get it. Are you trying to make a point that women are more favored under the law than men, or the other way around? Sounds like the first to me, so I'll go through them with that mentality in mind.
The abortion issue is that way for a reason. A man cannot get pregnant. A man does not have control over what goes on in a woman's body. So I don't see why there should be an abortion law for men. They're forced to pay child support because it's a 2 way street, you helped that woman concieve, she decided to have it, and letting her come up with the funds to raise it alone would be cruel.
As for the selective service, many women are currently fighting for the right to be called to service like any man. They want to be seen as equal under the law, though any of them can join under their own wills. Whether this is an equality difference or not is based on who's looking at it and what they think.
Of course women are equal in many ways to men, but they can't be seen as perfectly the same under the law. Certain aspects of being a different sex require different laws to apply.

The only claim you made that has merit is selective service. Since men can not get pregnant, abortion issue is a non-issue. If a man were to get pregnant the law would not be able to stop him from getting an abortion.
Child support laws are not written to apply to only men. My wife is paying child support to her ex for her son.

How do you provide a man with an abortion?? You didn't take that Arnold movie "Junior" seriously, did you?
I agree with you on selective service, also, women do have preferential treatment when it comes to divorce and custody battles.

If you mean there are laws that favor women over men, your right. Women get equal goodies but not equal responsibility, especially where sexual crimes or crimes against men are concerned.
