Is there's a special reason for it?
My parents named me Christina because they thought I was going to be a boy and was going to name me Chistopher, but since I came out as a girl I got stuck with Christina, but my little brothers name is Christopher. Mean, I know.

My name was supposed to be Mario. They were sure I was a boy. It was my dad's best friend's name.
Well, I came out a girl. So then it was gonna be Maria after both of my grandmothers. But, my parents figured they both had a hard life. So, they were gonna go with Marina. Then Christina.
But, then my dad decided he liked Ines which was one of his ex girlfriends names.

My father was really into the WW2 stories when he was a pup. He read one of a pilot who gave up his life rescuing a crew member when his plane was going down in flames. So, when I came around years later, he named me after the guy in the story that stayed with him through out all these years. It's pretty cool. I'm named after a Victoria Cross recipient.

My parents couldn't decide what to call me when I was born, so my dad prayed and said" What should we call this little girl?" No sooner had he uttered these words than a song came on over the speakers. "Think of Laura. Laugh and don't cry."
Can you guess what I got named?

my father picked out my name. He said he wanted the R to continue in the family mostly every female in his side of the family starts with R.

And my mother named my other two sisters ending in na, because every female on her side ends in na. its just confusing.

Diana and Christina

My father wanted to name me Susanne (with a French pronunciation), but my mom didn't want my name to sound French (because her family was from Czechoslovakia), so the only name they could agree on was Diane.

"Rachel" - my mom said she picked it out when she was 9..lol
Apparently she was in class and the teacher was talking about President Andrew Jackson, and his wife, Rachel and she thought "what a beautiful name!"..later she found out what an asswipe Jackson was..but still, that didn't change her decision to one day name a girl that.
