some one i know wants me to work on a 1998 Dodge Ram 4X4 truck with a 318 motor how many cyl motor is that? is that a v8?

and how much would you charge some one to put spark pulgs spark plug wires cam and rotor they have all the parts just need some one to put it in how much should i charge?

Wow ! sounds like you should stay away from this one. If you don`t know what a 318 is, then run away. Chances are you can`t fix it, if you don`t know what it is.

Yes-- a 318 is a V8
A person used to doing tuneups on a V8 in a truck could replace the plugs,wires, cap, and rotor in about an hour
Sparkplug gap is .o35.
do the plugwires first using the old cap and wires as an example so you don't mix up the firing order.

I have a 95 with a cat back flowmaster system with a flowmaster 40 series muffler it is the best sounding exausht I have ever heard
