What the mentioned on the TV this morning was that he's pissed about a trivial suit somebody filed against him so he's doing this to show that you can sue anyone for anything. It's a publicity stunt and this fool blowing off steam.
Besides, God isn't bound by the laws of man. How could he be? I would love to see him show up at the trial though!!!! What do you think, would he show up as a giant glowing being, or as George Burns?

He's not really trying to sue God. He's trying to make a point about frivolous lawsuits.
When something bad happens, even if it isn't really anybody's fault, a lot of people run around looking for somebody to sue. So he's saying, if people can't accept that sometimes life just doesn't work out the way they want it to, why don't they sue God over it?
In other words, he's trying to show how totally ridiculous some of these lawsuits are -- they're as ridiculous as suing God. But I think it kind of backfired on him, because a lot of people think he's actually serious about suing God.

The Democratic State Senator Ernie Chambers has long been a champion of his mostly black constituency in North Omaha. He is a maverick among Nebraska legislators and a civil rights figure since the sixties. He filed the suit in protest of the efforts to constrain lawsuits under the guise of frivolous. He believes the Courts should be open to all. He speaks for the downtrodden and underrepresented. We need more leaders like him.

Actually, these cases have been won before... Have you ever seen the movie "The Man Who Sued God"? It's about a man whose boat was destroyed by what the insurance company called "an act of God"... He was making a point that someone must be held accountable for everything that involves making a payment. He was right... The court overturned the insurance companies ability to claim "acts of God".

I think its completely stupid. My son asked me about this question this morning and i asked him if he thought he could beat up air?! He said no, so how can you sue God?
What kind of morals do you hold trying or even thinking of sueing God?
Ignorant people
