I was getting ready for my first day at work yesterday and my older sister was in my room talking to me and started lauging b/c I was wearing underwear under my pantyhose. She told me that you're suppose to go bare bottom with hose. Is she teasing me or is that true?

Personally I don't wear pantyhose with panties. Part of me is lazy - I wash my hose after I wear them - why bother with the underwear too. Part is comfort - it feels better to wear them without. Most pantyhose have the breathable cotton crotch (gusset) built in so you don't have to worry about accidental "exposure". If they are the sheer to waist style then maybe you could wear underwear - but I think your b/f or husband will be happier if you didn't : )

Pantyhose were designed to be worn without panties. But I (and most women I know) am more comfortable wearing panties under them. You can do what you want. And tell your sister to grow up -- there is no humor in what you did.

haha What an interesting question. :D I say that it just depends on your personal preference. I personally would rather wear underwear with them, because of something that happened to my cousin. Dresses and skirts are DANGEROUS if you don't wear panties with your pantyhose :P My cousin got exposed at my grandparent's 50th anniversary, because her skirt got caught on her heal and EVERYONE saw the fact that she wasn't wearing any underwear with her pantyhose.
So basically, I'd say to wear some panties with it. I don't see why not anyway.

It's a personal choice, but most ladies do indeed wear underwear under the pantyhose. There are brands on the market that claim to be a both in one option, but personally, I don't find them comfortable.

Some folks do go bare bottom in pantyhose but it's personal preference. Just beware that wearing them everyday can sometimes cause more frequent yeast infections. If you do wear underwear underneath, make sure it's cotton or something equally "breathable".

It can go either way..Uggghh I hate pantyhose I haven't worn those in sooo long. But u don't necessarily have to wear panties. Do u have the panties hoes that where the top part is darker? That's why they're like that so u won't have to wear panties..

Pantyhose is for our moms...
wear panties (or not) and thigh high stay-ups so you can "breathe"...plus, you'll feel a LOT sexier, which will make working at a job where you have to wear pantyhose quite a bit more interesting!
