Any and all ways to save money and use less energy?

Lights off when ever you leave the room.
Use a SWEATER instead of the furnace.
Insulate !! Even in an apartment, make some thermal-curtains.
QUICK showers
Fluorescent light bulbs (that cut my PG&E bill 30%)
Go to sleep at sunset

That's the house... now the rest of the world...

WALK or BIKE or take the BUS !!

I burn candles at night, no lights.

Turn off hot water tap instead of walking two or three steps away and back. Don't run the water while brushing your teeth.

Leave windows open instead of using AC.

Set heat at a reasonable temp, just barely out of your comfort zone. Go outside for a while and back in to appreciate the warm.

Loose change at the end of each day in a jar. Any single dollars in a jar.

Only wash full loads of clothes.

OK, I almost never turn my computer off. But my TV is seldom on.

Less energy,go fluorescent in every light socket.Unplug all unused appliances,ceiling fans and a higher thermostat,and crock pots for cooking.Save money.Buy in bulk,sale items,use dish towels instead of paper towels,dilute your shampoo,and use 1/2 amount of detergent when washing.Try these and you will save money...

eliminate a need for electricity. or go solar. start a garden and a compost heap. make sure all the cracks in your house are properly sealed. use a fireplace or woodburning stove to heat your home. reduce reuse and recycle homez!

all good answers so far.......drive less by combining errands and walking when possible....add insulation if you are a home owner....add a programable thermostat , set temp and leave it alone..... wear a sweater, use more blankets and cuddle with your favorite partner..
