Im sorry, but I cant get it out of my head that they are somehow involved! I didnt feel like this about the others! ( I mean the people mentioned in my question),even the guilford 4 I believed were innocent and a terrible miscarriage of justice, but I cant get this feeling out of the pit of my stomach that the Mcganns are involved.
On the day madeline went missing I didnt know, but as time has gone on, and I am not fickle or just listening to media propoganda either way, I just have this horrible feeling!!!

The Payne's perhaps did seem on television daily yet as each visual attraction got here they regarded extra & extra destroyed. they won't often communicate & have been emotional wrecks. that's the bit that upsets the wide-unfold public, the undeniable fact that the McCanns have in no way shown one iota of emotion yet nonetheless controlled to coach dignity. As to permitting their newborn to play unsupervised, how a lot supervision are you able to offer a newborn that age with out being oppressive? infants choose area & freedom to be infants & unquestionably being exterior playing in a field the place another newborn your age has performed effectively earlier is authorized. And as nicely, everyone has accomplished issues they remorseful approximately & i'm helpful the Payne's desire that they had in no way allowed their daughter out of their factors of interest whether it incredibly does no stable to hold all of it up back & back. additionally, the Payne's did no longer turn the full factor right into a money-making scheme. They in no way as quickly as asked every physique for any money for "residing costs" & i'm unquestionably particular that they do no longer look to be now & in no way have been besides off because of the fact the McCanns.

because the macanns have been in the media eye, from day one, 24/7 all are waiting for them to crack and break down, and when the media/wolves don't get this reaction, they pounce on this fact, did you know they where advised not to cry on t/v and to carry on as normal, by the ones in the know, how hard was that for them to do, all in the hope they would get their little girl back, so all that jogging along the beach and acting normal, was an act to send a message to the kidnappers, I have never seen parents work so hard to get their child back, and the Portuguese police have made a balls up of the whole thing, incompetence all round. and know i am glad that a top judge is big enough to say, that they are not being brought back to Portugal for further questioning, how wrong that people surmise on reactions of another person?.did you see these people you speak of in the public eye, no except for 5 minutes on TV, how do you think they would have reacted to 24/7 media focus, like screaming banshees, would this satisfy you?

Yep i know what u mean......theres summat fishy about them. However i dont believe all this stuff about them killing her and hiding a body.....they had the worlds press following their every move, how would they possibly hide a body? But i do think they are irressponsible parents leaving three children under the age of 4 alone. And i dont believe they checked on the children as often as they say. But at the end of the day the truth will out, i have better things to do than agree/disagree with the McCanns, i just hope little madeline is found alive and well. People seem to be forgetting that Madeleine is the most important thing here not whether the McCanns are guitly or not. I am certainly not pro McCann but i would rather concentrate on any news about the wherabouts of Madeliene than being anti McCann. If only the media would to the same.

In saying that i have just read the link from one of the other posts on here and it raises a question no one else seems to have noticed...... Kate said that when she discovered madeliene was missing she ran out of the apartment to call for help. Why did she not wake the twins and get them out of the appartment? One child has just been abducted and she runs out and leaves her other two children alone again! Summat definately doesnt add up!

The McCanns have so many high profile people ready to help them, and they have not been proved as being innocent yet. I do not think that they did anything to Madeleine, but the whole case has been fishy from the start.

You probably feel empathy even more now because you know the others had to go it alone...they didn't have the help of so many people as the McCanns do....

What makes it worse is, the McCanns have all this back up, even though they left a door unlocked to their appartment where their children slept, and they were out enjoying themselves.

All this appears to have conveniently been forgotten.

Me too. I think its because they genuinely seemed to be grieving. Its not so much with the way the McCanns don't show emotion, and I agree perhaps they don't want to break down in front of the camera's, but HOW did they manage to go jogging and meeting friends and taking trips out all well out of camera range. I'm afraid if it was me, I wouldn't have no choice but to look a dishevelled mess because my raw grief wouldn't let me behave any other way.

The thing with DNA testing though is that it has become so advanced. If Maddie had touched her mums coat for example and her mum then placed the coat in the boot of the hire car then Maddies DNA will be in the boot. Some things don't seem to add up but I don't think they are involved. I really don't know.

I think one reason you might not feel empathy for the McCanns is because they don't seem to be particularly likeable people. They don't come across as being desperate enough to find their missing daughter. It's easier to feel sympathy or empathy for people who do come across as likeable even when it turns out that they were guilty of the crimes they were accused of.

Probably because you empathised wtih them when you saw the raw emotion in their appeals and press conferences. The McCann's have done none of that. I know it sounds harsh but to get the public sympathy you need to 'give' something to them to work with - I know a dead or missing child should be enough but sadly I'm not sure it is. The key to the publics reaction on a case is squarely based on being able to see the child and seeing the devastation caused. Everyone in our house cried when Rhys's mum and dad appealed for his killer because of them, if the news had just reported it straight up without that obviously family closeness, call me a hard cow, but I probably would have just sighed, shaken my head and got on with whatever I was doing.
