if you are pregnant this is a common issue we ladies go through- try apple juice, ginger snaps, things with cinnamon or pumpkin (or both)- you need to up the fiber, beans only cause gas, go with less gassy fibers like oatmeal, juices, etc...

Make sure you are drinking lots of water. The activia yogurts are great. I've been having trouble with constipation because of my prenatal vitamins and I eat a yogurt every morning with breakfast...plus its healthy and has vitamins for baby! Drink lots of water throughout the day. Apple juice is great too. You can water it down too and it'll help get water in you. Being active also helps. Going on a little 30 min walk can do wonders to get your body moving. Good luck!

Again, increase liquid intake (esp fruit juices) and, re the change in diet, give it time to take effect. Wait 3 or 4 more days before worrying.
