recently bought a no tears shampoo that burned my eyes and my 2 year olds. emailed complaint and got a refund check for the product, $3.99. I wish to return check with letter stating that this is an inadequate compensation. I am not looking for tons of $$$$, but 3.99 is just an insult, if it were your kids I am sure it would upset you that Johnson and Johnson put a 3.99 sales tag on your daughters eyes. any suggestions? thanks ahead of time :)

99.9% of the people who use that product do not have a complaint. They refunded your money...Your daughters eyes were not damaged just stung for a little while. I'm not sure how much compensation you expect for that. Next time try to be more careful and don't get soap in her eyes

In case you haven't noticed, Johnson and Johnson is a HUGE COMPANY with offices all over the WORLD.... as such, you can bet they have some of the best LEGAL TEAMS in the country and your little TOTALLY FRIVOLOUS complaint would be tossed out of court before it even GOT there-----be happy they sent you the $3.99..... ALL SOAP BURNS EYES... They call it no more tears because in 99.99% of the world's population that uses the shampoo, they do NOT pour the product directly into the eyes AND, when they DO accidently get it in the eyes, they know enough to wash it out with a cold water rince.. I've used that product since my son was an infant---29 years ago and NEVER ONCE burned my eyes in ANY WAY shape or form NOR did it EVER burn my son's eyes..... if NO permanent damage was done...cash the J&J check and move on with your life --or maybe you could go to McDonalds and put another cup of HOT COFFEE on your lap and try to sue THEM......

I am going to assume this is a joke.
If it's not;

Everybody knows that shampoo and soap burn like crap when they get in your eyes.
If there was no permanent damage what do you have to complain about?
Perhaps your daughter should sue you for getting the shampoo in her eyes- after all you are the one responsible for her pain. You put the shampoo in her eyes.

I'd take the $3.99 if I were you- it's all you are going to get.

ADD: They don't screen these absurd questions either.
Where did you send for the refund check- Einstein
You think that might be where the letter goes.
Duh- uh

Did she go blind? HOw do you know it burned your eyes did you dump it into your eyes after your 2yr old cried? Was she crying from a "burning" or just because something touched her eye? I always used J&J on my daughter and my son is 16 months now and we use J&J or Babymagic and have not had problems with either. They refunded your money thats all they are legally obligated to do. You say you dont want tons of money then take the refund check.

Take the refund, and just don't buy any more Johnson and Johnson products.

And then avoid getting shampoo in your 2 year old' s eyes...

You bought a product that wasn't suitable for you, it stung your eyes and your daughters eyes - surely one of you gut stung first and the other might have thought it wasn't a good idea to use it?

They gave you a voucher that would mean that you could go and buy a shampoo that agreed with you both more.

Not sure I can see the problem.

If you needed to seek medical help then you could ask your doctor to write a letter for you to send to them but I'm not seeing where you're going with this one.

That refund is all you will get unless you take legal action. For temporary discomfort without lasting damage or expenses, you won't be able to get much if anything.

did her eyes just get irritated, or did she lose her sight, no matter what you wash a persons hair with , it is apt to irritate the eyes.
