In a 1973 White House conversation between Kissinger, the national security adviser, and Al Haig, then Nixon’s chief of staff, Kissinger said military men are “dumb, stupid animals to be used” as pawns for foreign policy.
As one of Nixon’s closest advisers, and later as secretary of state, Kissinger ran foreign policy as a personal fiefdom. Bypassing Congress and sometimes Nixon himself, Kissinger used his power to spy on Americans and members of Congress, plotted military coups in Chile and Argentina, supported torture states, threatened to use nuclear weapons and bombed civilian populations in Laos and Cambodia.
Bush asked Kissinger, now a private consultant and powerful force in Washington, to lead the 9/11 commission.
During a private meeting with the 9/11 Family Steering Committee in 2002, Kissinger faced questions about his client list. He refused to say whether he worked for Saudi clients or anyone named bin Laden. Today, Kissinger remains a presidential adviser, helping Bush and Cheney devise Iraq strategy.
The quote is found in “Final Days,” a book by Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein. Kissinger has never disputed it.

I RESPECT THE TROOPS ENOUGH TO STAND UP FOR WHATS RIGHT AND WHATS WRONG. I TEND TO QUESTION PEOPLE THAT WOULD PUT THEM IN HARMS WAY FOR FOREIGN POLICY AND PROFIT ONLY TO LAUGH BEHIND THEIR BACKS. GET IT. LOL JUST LIKE ALWAYS WITH IDIOTS YOU HAVE TO DRAW THEM A MAP AND PAINT THEM A PICTURE. SPELL IT OUT FOR THEM SO THEY CAN UNDERSTAND.

You're not really surprised to read here that so many people are completely uneducated and ridiculous that they have no real understanding of what's really going on or how this system works?????
These are the same people that believe every word of the history books they read in high school!
Henry Kissinger is the key that unlocks the whole U.S. foreign policy for the past 5 or 6 decades!
Blind folded fools!

Well its pretty obvious, that our political and business elites are using military forces to push on their interests, this is not news and has been since the beginning! The interesting things here is to note how far those corporates security firms can reach and since they are privately owned, are not acccountable to any kinds of scrutiny! They have friends in the CIA, NSA, so they are never disturbed by those... Also, who can tell us if those firms are not also working with Ben Laden, while working with the white house? I think it could explained why he has not been catch so far, and how the elite could controls the whole scheme from start to finish!!
Kissinger is a member of very powerful groups and has been a contemporary visionary of those same groups, he has the experience and the networks to pull every strings from start to finish, and render everything done in Iraq as a pure play without a fixed stage...
It smell bad, and it will smell bad as long as this guy is around! The solution to end the Iraq conflict is not to be found in Iraq, or Iran, but in the US itself! This is the place where you can find the true responsible for all those mess!!

Their orders genius. I rather do want that I lived on your little international. Having to detect that what occurs around the road could honestly have an effect on my lifestyles. When I took the oath it was once approximately protecting the nation and the charter of the USA and mentioned not anything approximately the employed support within the white condominium. I have no idea if the oath has converted. I am certain that they're mindful that they have got been frolicked to dry. I am additionally certain that our lives could be by some means effected in the event that they weren't in the market, walking right into a hornets nest daily. To suppose that to be unfaithful is self serving and painfully naive.

Yes, and Paul Bremmer, used to work for Henry Kissinger at Kissinger Associates.
Also, Kissinger is on the Defense Policy Advisory Board.
Businessmen fight war's for profit.
Soldiers fight for patriotism.
What else could the Republicans think about military men?

This is the most recent quote you could find? Nice job.
What about Kerry, calling our troops stupid? Oh wait - that was a "botched joke." Yeah, right.
Why do so many liberidiots stand in the blood of the soldiers who died for our rights and smear the military?
I don't assume you speak for all liberals - mainly because I know quite a few intelligent liberals - so don't assume *anyone* speaks for all conservatives.
Hey, Spanky - if you don't respect our troops, you aren't worthy of the sacrifices that have been made on *your* behalf over the past 230+ years. F*ing hypocrite. You sure love having the freedom to spout off, but don't appreciate the cost of said freedom. You're pathetic.

GREAT... use Henry Kissinger as a representative of EVERY Republican ?? Particularly in a book by two NOTED liberals.
JUST FYI, I'm a California Republican who is a veteran of 15 years of service in the US Military. I flew as a Naval Aircrewman, served as an instructor, and got my commission as a Limited Duty Officer. I entered as an Airman (E-3) and left as a Lieutenant Commander (OE-4).
I RARELY saw a dumb or stupid sailor or Marine... and as an NCO and Officer, I never saw my troops as something to be USED. WE ARE instruments of National Policy.

Kissenger is a demon I can't wait until he's gone do a Googe search on New World Order quotes for some other great humanitarian quotes. And wouldn't you know that he's intimately involved in 9/11?

Don't forget, any soldier who speaks up about what's really going on over there winds up having some neocon saying "they signed up for that". No, they signed up to protect our country, not be used and abused in military adventurism. We should pull our troops out, and dump everyone in the bush administration and all of the talking head chickenhawks in the middle of Fallujah and leave them there.
