Mexican trucks are not safe, there have been studies that show they have not been safe time and time again. And the facts stand that I don't remember EVER in the USA history of having THREE semi's involved in one accident where the weather never played a part. How much will our insurances go up because of the danger of being on the roads?

How many people are going to die at the hands of these trucks? My guess many, MANY more than what happened on 9/11.

David...it took over a WEEK for the facts that the drunk driver (who hit the guy who headed the movie, "The Christmas Story") was an illegal alien. This story is no different. They want to try to save face and just not mention the FACTS. Like everything else. They don't want people to think for themselves.

It's the first one I've heard of but you can bet it won't be the last or the worst. It is a shame and a disgrace our pols let us be subjected to this nonsense.

It's not just the Mexican truck drivers. I would add rednecks or uneducated hicks and Canadians. There used to be a lot of accidents involving Canadians in a town where I lived because they could not read/understand/see our signs. Trucks driven by Canadians used to get routinely stuck under a bridge. They blamed the sign but they should have been able to tell visually that the truck would not fit. I hear you but it's not just the Mexicans. When I lived in Tuscaloosa, AL, two trucks collided (white men) and the intersection couldn't have been bigger and more clear. It was a beautiful day. At least one of them died. People all over seem to have become worse drivers. They are more impatient and take more chances.

I find it interesting that the article you chose to use to support your rant against Mexican trucks does not mention Mexican trucks... Odd. Maybe the issue is California based trucks.
