Adding something to the fries? You definitely have to add more salt and a ton of ketchup!
As far as food, nothing beats a Fudge Sundae or a Chocolate Shake with your fries. Some people think it's nasty but I like it that way.

Try it the German/Dutch way - with mayo. I have a philosophy of "Don't knock it 'til you try it." which is what I did. Seems gross but it actually is pretty good. But a food to go along with it - basically anything fried or grilled on the barby.

cheese always and either ketchup, ranch dressing, or yeah this sounds gross but its really good get some ketchup and a pack of mayonaise and mix em together and dip it in there umm so good

I like to mix ketchup and mayo with mine, or ketchup and ranch dressing. It sounds gross, and didn't look too appealing when I was first told about it, but it is actually very good.
