Call 9-11 and stay by your side, and try to stop the bleeding..
I would also try to keep you conscious since the ones that make it are the ones that keep awake..

The first thing I would do is call 911 and then proceed with whatever skills I have to keep you stable, stop the bleeding, CPR and covering you with my own jacket-for person in shock, (w/assistance from 911 operator also).
Would hope someone would come assist, but yelled for help once when someone was involved in a wreck at a highway near a Hotel and no one called 911. Had to leave the person unattended and go to the Hotel myself, after prying a door open. Was about 100 degrees outside.
What's worse; I knew the person involved in the wreck. (Before cell phones.)

I would see what I could for you to make you feel comfortable and call 9-1-1 and explain the situation as quickly and in a few words as possible the details and location of the situation. I would also do my best to try to stop the profuse bleeding before you die of bleeding to death.

This is what Happy Little Trees has said...

Well that is in the developed countries and in most countries of the world. there is no Call 9-11 or ambulance on the ready, and if you happened to be in one of those god forsaken regions, I would pack your wounds with what ever clothings I could get and stop your bleeding, then toss you over my head and my shoulder and drag you to the nearest hospital , or if I was driving a vehicle or any transport, I would use it.
It would be your luck to make it or...

I would apply pressure to the wound to hopefully stop or curtail the bleeding, while trying to call or attempting to get another bystander to call 9-1-1; along with praying for God's assistance for the both of us.

Check for your wallet?
Call 911?
Cross over your body and go on my way?
Give you a kick in the butt for staining the sidewalk?
Shoot you again in an act of mercy killing?
Can't seem to choose from the lot.

Call 911 and wait with you until the ambulance comes. I would cover you with a blanket and make sure you're OK.
