I'm not that crazy about it but if you decide to use it anyway, I would find a better way to spell it. You don't want your kid being laughed at cause they are the only kid in class who still cant spell their name right. Also i have read several articles/studies that show that children w/ "ethnic" names are given lower test scores than kids w/ the exact same answers and a more "plain jane name". I know that is way in the future but it's a sad fact that you may want to keep in mind. It's one of the reason that I picked a unique name for my daughter and is not associated w/ any culture.

Are you trying to spell Letitia? It's actually a nice name, but I have negative associations with it because it was the name of a ghetto area in the city I'm from.

No. The spelling is a headache, it reeks of low class questionableness, and middle school will be funny and tortuous because ... well you know... spelling.

Would u pronounce it Le-TI-ci-ah, Le-TI-ti-ah, Le-TIT-ia or Le-TEE-sha?
or La-TI-ci-ah, La-TI-ti-ah, La-TIT-ia or La-TEE-sha.

I like the Le-TI-ci-ah pronunciation.. and I'd go with the spelling as "Leticia"

but Laetitia is ok.. i just don't like the TIT part
