he wasnt starting anything or disturbing anyone.
there was no reason to ask him to leave,
but they did ask him,
and because he didnt listen,
the police would then have the means to force him out,
but not arrest him,
he gave them the ability to arrest them when he resisted arrest, that should be the only charge against him,
there was no reason for the tasering...considering police have been specialy trained and couldve easily taken him down with out it.
this whole thing was unfortunate, but thats what the "land of the free" has become.. its not gone completly..but its changed.

No. Even at public events (i do no longer know no rely if this one grow to be government-subsidized, or positioned on by a private team), time, place and way regulations on speech are authorised. This guy or woman handed his time, and grow to be disruptive. there's a distinction between freedom - "ordered liberty" - and anarchy. If unfastened speech means every physique can arise and incredibly take over a meeting for his very own purposes, then we can all have the skill to drown one yet another out. Then no person might have unfastened speech! playstation i do no longer think of law enforcement officials could ought to attempt against for an prolonged era with somebody. And tasers are extra humane than the old truncheon, or nightstick. And no person knew precisely what they have been dealing with on the time. we've all had 2 days to 2d-guess. What if he had had a gun or something? He needless to say looked unbalanced, and something is available in those situations. Ask police who're out on the streets daily. i might fairly be risk-free than sorry.

Yes I saw it , the media (at least GMA )this morning tried to blame it on the young man, saying he was being obnoxious. However , I want to know where John Kerry was when all this was going on and why he didn't intervene or tell the cops to leave the kid alone.
And as far as I've seen no statement from him or his office on it either.
Getting to be very scary in the US and sometimes what happens in the US makes it way up to Canada. Very scary, marching toward a police state sure as shootin.

I wasn't there, so I don't know the whole story, but it certainly looks like the police went overboard. They didn't even give the guy the chance to leave peacefully after he asked his questions. Granted, he was rude and excited, but I didn't realize that being rude was illegal.
As far as freedom of speech, you are free to go into any closet in your home and say whatever you would like. It makes me sick.

It could go both ways, he is a known sh** disturber and video tapes himself pushing the limits with authority. His questions to Kerry were stupid in my opinion and he asked them in a very confrontational and aggressive manner, but I don't think they should have tasered him. He is on private university property so it's going to be tough to fight this. They should drop the charges and He should agree not to sue. Let it go. Have a Great Day!

That boy needs some counseling. He has some issues for sure. Read up a bit on him and about his website.

He deserved every bit of it. He had the opportunity to make his little speech, then abused it. He was asked to leave because he was belligerent and disruptive, didn't comply, and got zapped because of it.
Seems that's what happens most of the time when you get a bunch of Democrats together.

Whatever, I have no sympathy for the guy. He brought it onto himself. That siad, the tazering seemed kind of pointless...just made him scream louder. Oh well. Lemmee see that thing, maybe if we tazer his tongue...
