How can any of you justify giving thumbs-down to someone's choice of a favorite movie?

Angels in the Outfield (the original in black and white of course) is also a great movie.
There are so many great ones though:

Good answers. I'd have to say Major League is my favorite. I still have my version of Jobu from when I played. The Natural, Pride of the Yankees, Bull Durham are up there too.

Comedy wise Major League (only the original too, the sequels were not good at all).
Drama wise I'd say Field of Dreams or The Rookie.

I like the "Pride of the Yankees" about Lou Gehrig and his struggle with ALS, "The Babe Ruth Story" - the one from 1948 with William Bendix, and "Eight Men Out" about the White Sox scandal. I like these movies because they're all true stories....sad, but true.
