Gender stereotype in prime-time network TV ?

Anyone here know a prime-time network show (shows like OC, 7th heaven, X files, etc) that contain alot of gender stereotypes ?

Almost all television has gender stereotypes. But here ar ea few specific examples. In Everybody loves Raymond and The King of Queens the wife is the head of the household while the husband works and is usually immature and puts his friends before his family. The wife is always catching the husband in some lie and then he learns a lesson...so the wise wife has to deal with the immature man. There are hundreds more but there's a starting point for you.

Well one way to think of gender stereotyping is the way men are seen on TV.
Typically in any sitcom the woman is always smart and practical, while the man is a total buffoon. Only when it comes to Afro-American TV shows do they make both sexes equal. So the moral of TV shows is that men and women are created equal except if you’re a white male.

Um.. the OC, Any show on MTV, the law and orders. Every prime time show depicts women as either a) The fashion concious, self centered, boy crazy, money hungry, sluts or b) the "i have something to prove to society" overbearing strong women type, trying to make it in a "mans world" but keeps gettin questioned because she lets her emotions get in the way.

All sensative men in prime-time television, who arent tryin to get into a womens pants or show any type of compassion... are gay! That, my dear, is gender bias.
