From what I understand is that the stuff was put in storage and the storage fees were not paid. When this happens the storage companies sell off the stuff. His stuff was sold off.
Possession is 9/10 of the law it has been said. Also if the items were, indeed stolen, why didn't he report the theft to the police and let them deal with it? Breaking into a hotel room and threatening someone with a gun or being a part of such a raid is a felony. That is what he is likely to be charged with and what he will be found guilty of not so much trying to retrieve his stuff.

No. There are legal channels that can be pursued as he knows numerous lawyers he somehow employs. You have to sue for the return of the goods presenting proof of ownership beyond his DNA & signed memorabilia. But then you have a 30 million judgment against and profits or gains you stand to accumulate over these items.
