Absolutely- every time you give so much of yourself over to another person, you can't expect it to be all happiness, all the time. When you love someone, you start feeling like they're a part of you somehow. Like if you had a really good day at work but you come home and find out that your BF has been fired, even if it doesn't directly affect you financially or anything, suddenly your great day takes a nosedive because you see how miserable your love is. It also works the other way, though- if you're having a generally crappy day and your BF comes home with really great news or some flowers for you, suddenly the day is SO good!

yes love is bitter and at the same time sweet because you will not have it the way u want it to be .Never .but u will get to know that for you to enjoy love and as sweet as u want it to be then you have to give more than receiving love is about sacrifice not about taking.

It can be both. When i first feel in love with my ex husband it was sweet. Then he started drinking heavy and chasing other women
then it got bitter.

love is hard and you have to work hard. most of the time, should be sweet but when a couple fights, you can hate each other but get over it later.
