Funny story. I was picking up my girlfriend (who is now my wife) at work late one night. A 'lady of the evening' came up to my car and asked if I wanted company. I told her I'm waiting for my wife, am not interested in what she has in mind but wouldn't mind a chat to kill the time. As always, my wife was late and I knew I could afford a few minutes. We got talking about how she hated herself for the way she got into what she's doing and would do anything to get out. When my wife finally came out, we drove her to a woman's shelter and told her she can hide out from the people she got in with long enough to try and rebuild her life. She was rather thankful.
I'm all about not judging books by their covers. If I can help someone in desperate need, like her, I'm happy to. Explaining all of that to my wife was the part I wasn't too happy to deal with.

I'd probably end up throwing pennies at her, for the simple fact that she probably knows she has some heinous diesase and not being upfront with her "clients". But if she was "upfront" with her clients, she wouldn't have any clients...
Strange conundrum these hookers get themselves into, huh?!

Probably not. My guess is she was crying for a reason. Lack of money, she's pregnant, out of crack, got beat up..Something of that nature. In that case she brought it on herself
