Trying new things is hard. I would prefer to be safe, but if I want to move forward, I have to try new things. It can be scary. It has been scary.

I like to try some new things. Today my husband and I went to walk on a trail we had never been on. It was lovely. The weather here is so cool and beautiful now, though the leaves are not really changing color yet. Anyway, I've learned to scuba dive and I took flying lessons once a long time ago. I went hang gliding on the beach dunes in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Still there are a lot of things I would never do like bungee cord jumping, parachuting, botox, and others. If you think about it you can try new things that don't have to be very risky. You can try a new sport like golf, mountain biking or figure skating. You might not even need a lesson for some things. I'd like to learn to kayak.

For the most part it is safe. The guys in my band have bought lots of expensive guitars and equipment (items worth $1000+) and never had any problems. If you look at each seller, they have a rating. If they have ever sold sometihng and not delivered, they will have a bad rating. So if you buy something from someone who has sold 100 items, and all of his customers are happy, it's a pretty safe bet. Also if you get scammed, Ebay will help you recover the money.

Moon, I'm an explorer type. I've ALWAYS loved exploring new territory and looking over different horizons. I LOVE to learn and I can't see myself EVER changing this aspect of myself. The day I stop seeking new information will probably be the day that they put me into a box and slide it into the incinerator. And, if there's any way to continue learning after then, I WILL find a way to do that, too. LOL

Most of the time I like to stick with stuff which I know works. When doing something new, I would at least want to think about it first and make sure I'm not taking any risks. Slow and steady is much safer than quick and sporadic.

I can try new things...as long as I feel they don't pose a threat to my body, soul and spirit. New things bring a whole lot of excitement since they are yet 'unknown'. Some may be 'tricky',..some may just be fresh 'adjustments',..some may be from 'overhauled' process. The pros and cons always come with these 'new things'. So, taking time to check out the specifics can always save us our @ss before actually trying them.

I like to try many new things whenever I get the chance. Some of them are very fun, others it's hard to stick with them. But all in all, it's better to try more than to not try at all.
Best wishes to all,

I like to try new foods and new restaurants. I'm somewhat adventurous in all parts of my life. But some new things I just know I would not like so I don't try them.

I've spent my whole life taking the road less traveled. Sometimes I've even had to make my own road. But navigating on my own means brought me to where I am today and with the angel I am with. Wouldn't have taken it any other way.

Honestly it depends the kind of mood I'm in. Sometimes I'll try new things and sometimes I'll stick to what I know.
