Very difficult question. My response could depend on which genre of music, the quality of an individual voice, my own mood etc. Here's a few suggestions:
Jazz singers ~ Bobby Darrin or Lena Horne ~ smooth & sophisticated
Opera singers ~ Recently departed Pavarotti or Callas~ for sheer power & control
Band singers ~ Freddie Mercury of Queen
Blues & Folk singers ~ Dylan
Easy listening ~ Rod Stewart
Not an easy choice.
