I am shocked that he now is able to have joint custody of our young daughter. No record of this crime have been available and I can not afford an attorney. In our divorce degree it states that neither of us are allowed to expose her to anyone who has been put on probation for or jailed for any CSC crimes. I am wondering how this exempts him just because he merely got off after probation and a short term of counceling. I'm a concerned Mom and wish to find any answers. Thankyou!

Call your Local Child Services and tell them your problem. It will cost you nothing and you will be given valuable steps to take to keep this Man away from your daughter.

All dealings through the court are a matter of public record. You should go to the court house and go to the records department. Get on their computer and look up his conviction. You should only need his name. Print it out and show it to your lawyer. Also since he got probation he may have pleaded down to a lesser crime. You need to go find out exactly what he was convicted for.

If you have a local Department of Human resources I would call them and ask for help. Does he have to register has a sex offender if not I would find out how to push that. I would also find away to come up with the money, for the saftey of your daughter. Also it is hard but maybe ask your daughter if Dad ever touched her somewhere or made her do something she didnt like. Just in case then she could get counsling. I would not give up keep asking ?'s and seeking answers.

You absolutely need a lawyer for this. Your daughter's happiness and well-being is at stake. Take out a loan, borrow money, get a second job... do whatever it takes to find an attorney. see if they will work out a payment plan.

If he had probation then he had a conviction. That should be all you need. You'd have to know where it was and go through their court or police system to get the records.

You need to track the records down. Don't stop until you find proof of his conviction. Then get a lawyer and PROTECT THIS CHILD! No matter the cost.

How can you not afford a lawyer in this case? But what exactly are you afraid of? If he hasn't been abusive towards your daughter, then he is still her father. This man was someone you choose to have a child with, and that was 6 years ago.

DO NOT ALLOW HER TO STAY WITH HIM!!!!!!!!
IF YOU DO YOU ARE ENDANGERING YOUR OWN CHILD AND IT CAN AND WILL BE USED AGAINST YOU !!! YOU CAN GO TO THE COURT HOUSE AND FILE YOUR OWN PAPERWORK WITHOUT A LAWYER AND THE JUDGE WILL HEAR YOU. IF YOU LET YOUR DAUGHTER WITH HIM AND ANYBODY REPORTS THIS YOU WILL LOSE YOUR DAUGHTER.
BESIDES THAT I WOULD DO ANYTHING, LAWFUL OR NOT , TO MAKE SURE MY DAUGHTER WOULDN'T BE PUT IN THAT POSSITION. I HOPE YOU AREN'T ACCTUALLY CONSIDERING LETTING YOUR DAUGHTER BE ALONE WITH THAT MAN!!!! IS THAT AN OPTION IN YOUR HEAD? DON'T FORGET YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR HER SAFETY AND WELL BEING. DON'T DO THIS TO HER.
