My 73 year old mother was diagnosed with Tuberculitis but she really doesn't know what it is, even when her doctor tries to explain it, she remains uncertain. I've tried doing research but I usually end up in a dead end, unsatisfied with the three word answers I find.

a tubercle is a small swelling or node, it can be anywhere in the body...tuberculitis then is inflammation of that tubercle, if your mother has tuberculits, the doctor should have told her where the node is that is inflammed.
