I fairly new to this site and I started reading and than I started to ask my own questions. It started off as a distraction for my mind. I'm severely depressed and I need to keep active to distract my mind from spiraling down. But, as I read more abd more, I found that the people on this site are interesting, open, honest, and fun.
My question. What are your reason for visiting this site?
1) gain insight
2) bored
3) need someone to talk to
4) just for fun
5) other reasons

yesterday, I visited this site by accident, I scrolled thru a few Q's&A's and I found some of them quite interesting so I logged on post 1 question, not very long after, I got a very intelligent answer from one of the member.
I think this site is very intersting, it's a melting pot , you can find the good, the bad, the ugly, the very stupid to the very smart people, they're all here.
Words are extremely powerfull tool, if you post the right questions some of the answer may help subside your severe depression.

Just curious at first but have found it fun.
Nice to express myself since I am living in Hungary for a few months and nobody to talk to expect my husband and I am afraid he is getting"burned out" with talking to me so much.
Edit: Don't let yourself get depressed, I've been there and it is not a nice place to be.

Information, knowledge etc etc.. any questions you have that you dont want to ask family friends etc. ask on here and get peoples views and opinions, it makes you feel better and you can find out amazing things.
