I do not think so, although members of the Police Department at the University of Florida may feel differently.

I saw that on the news this morning and thought that the authorities could have certainly handled the situation better and without the taser at all. It didn't call for that kind of reaction. They could have just escorted him out into the hallway. He would have been yelling and disrupting the proceedings for a few minutes, then that would have been the end of it.

Sounds like a plan to me. Maybe a little freer use of tasering would bring a little respect back into society.

Yes, I personally think this to be a superb suggestion. The well disciplined amongst us could self taser upon an indiscretion of such kind.

Could it also apply to pensioners who walk too slowly in the shopping centre?

maybe taser for lateness. only because if someone is always late for meetings, they are late for other things. maybe a jumpstart to the behind will get them to be more considerate. but i am a fan of the taser to those who make fun of others.
taser. yes, taser is good. i will be getting one.

Since he was already hand cuffed and there were several officers around, why taser him? The world has gone mad.

I think someone should get tased every day. It's makes them do the chicken. At the Academy Awards this year if a winner talks to long they will tase them and pull them off stage. I bet only 1 winner will talk to long.

It might prompt people to be more considerate of others, but someone would end up dying. Besides that my sisters would probably be in a coma from so much shock.
