It's definitely possible. Call your doctor and see if they can check the heartbeat for you. Don't go to the ER, go to your own doctor.

Call your OB and see if you should come into the office or go to the ER. When you were in the ER the other day did you hear the heartbeat or did the give you a scan? How did they leave things.
I simply can't tell you for sure-I have had botha painless m iscarriage (at 6 weeks, though) and one of my successful pregnancies had some heavy bleeding during it so anything could be happening. Get checked out.

When I had my miscarriage it started out with just a little bit of spotting that went on for a few days. Then when I would use the restroom I would have clots. This went on for a few days before I started to feel allot of pain. So it is very possible this is what is happening to you know. You seriously need to get to the doctor. But don't worry to much there is still hope. I have also had a pregnancy where I started bleeding because the baby was putting to much pressure on my cervix. So this is possible also. Just get yourself to the doctor. I will keep you in my prayers.

I don't know... so I am just gonna tell you about my miscarriage I had April 3, 2007. I was 3 months along, about 13 weeks. ITS GRAPHIC AND IM SORRY! but it might help, I don't know... so I am gonna tell you anyway.
I had light backpain for about 2 weeks... I thought it was normal because when I was pregnant with my daughter (now 2) I actually had severe back pain, and I had no complications with her. Anyway, April 2nd when I laid down to go to sleep my back was moderately hurting. My boyfriend wanted to have sex and I told him I didn't feel like I could because of my back. I woke up at 4 in the morning and it felt like labor pains (bad period cramps times 2, I suppose) and it hurt so bad I was crying, I am a deep sleeper and it woke me out of a dead sleep. I went to the bathroom and wiped to see if there was blood and there was. It was so light I could barely see it... but it was there. We rushed out of the house to go the the ER and when I got to my car it felt like a bubble bursted in or around my cervix, if that makes any sense, and I felt the blood coming out. I got to the hospital and went to the bathroom and little clots came out... they got bigger tho during the time I was there. I had to wait until 9 that morning before they did an ultrasound. Right after the ultrasound I went to the bathroom and a "clot" about the size of a newborn baby's head came out. There is more to it but I don't want to make anyone mad or offend anyone... so I will stop here.
You may or may not be having a miscarriage, but I would suggest that you go to your doctor to make sure so you don't have to go thru a miscarriage if it can be prevented.

The brown blood is actually old blood which can sometimes be seen early in the pregnancy, the concern is when it turns red. If you have any bleeding it is always better to check with the doctor.
Good Luck, I know this is scary I had a miscarriage before my two boys and I remember the feelings well.
Just remember bleeding does not always mean miscarriage.

Wow, Please go to your doctor pronto. If you are seeing clots that's not good. If the bleeding gets heavy run to the ER so they can handle the situation, you don't want to sit at home waiting for a doctor's appt or to 'see what happens' because you could run the risk of becoming septic.

Like the answers above, you should definately call your physician. I spotted a little bit when I was pregnant w/ my 2nd daughter, but that did go away after a few days. Give your MD a call...a good luck!

You should contact your Dr. about this. My mother did have this happen with my baby sister too and everything was fine.
Don't freak out, it does more harm than good.
Call your Dr. now and good luck !
